前不久才從紐約人間蒸發的現任Miss USA Tara Conner

在今天回到Big Apple面對命運的審判...
Miss USA選委會主席Donald Trump
將在和Tara見面後決定是否讓她繼續保有后冠

而審判的結果卻出乎眾人意料之外...

Tara仍然是現任的Miss USA


被問到為何會做出如此決定時...Trump這麼回答

“I’ve always been a believer in second chances”
恩...對於一個在resume上寫著令人印象深刻的東山再起故事...縱橫紐約房地產界數十載的傳奇大亨來說
這樣的理由似乎還蠻能令人信服的

不過下一個理由就有點讓人不以為然了...

“She left a small town in Kentucky and she was telling me that she got caught up in the whirlwind of New York,” Trump said. “It’s a story that has happened many times before to many women and many men who came to the Big Apple. They wanted their slice of the Big Apple and they found out it wasn’t so easy.”

所以你的意思是...
只要來到紐約...因為被這個城市的邪惡本質給污染
所以犯了再愚蠢的錯誤都可以被原諒嗎？

原來城市也可以當作一個脫罪的藉口...
