在一般人的印象中
紐約四處可見那專賣熱狗和pretzel（台灣是不是叫做蝴蝶圈？）的小販
是所謂的小本生意...資本額不高...主要靠勞力換取微薄收入的工作
不過如果租一個擺推車的空間
就要付給NYC Park Department一年高達一千一百多萬（326,000 USD）台幣的租金時...
你告訴我...這算哪門子的小本生意啊？
這就是年租金笑傲紐約的“攤販王“...
掌控紐約最大觀光客聚集地Central Park的攤位出租權
Park Department去年光是靠著Cental Park的攤位租金就坐收一億兩千萬台幣（3,480,000 USD）的進帳
不過這並非表示拿到承租權的小販就可以靠調高售價來打平年年飆漲的租金
在和Park Department簽訂的合約中包括關於售價的相關規定
所以你還是可以用2塊美金買到一份熱夠...1.25美金買到一罐soda
"We could get more if we let them charge $5 a hot dog - which we won't"
那明年能不能試試看調降租金...然後要求攤販也降低售價來回餽顧客呢？

我想曾經造訪過大都會美術館的朋友都對這個鑲金的攤位有印象吧...而且應該也都有對其營業額做出貢獻

今年夏天在這個攤位買了不少冰淇淋...
3. Northwest corner of 60th Street and Fifth Avenue : $168,500
4. East side of West Drive entrance to Central Park : $152,000
5. East 62nd Street near entrance to Central Park Zoo : $151,800
6. Corner of 79t Street and Fifth Avenue : $145,000
